We went there a bit early before opening time but were readily accommodated to sit at the tables outside. There is no menu with prices but the friendly waitress explained the options and inside you may choose from an assortment of fresh fish, shrimps, mussels and squid on ice with prices. The outstandingly competent female chef suggested what fish to select and how to cook it. We ordered Bonito for sashimi as well tartar, sea bass for ceviche and grilled mackerel. It’s was delicious. The ceviche was marinated in olive oil with lemon, thinly sliced spring onions and fresh corinander. The tartare and Bonito sashimi were to die for! Very soft fish texture with interesting spices. Of course, the mackerel was deboned and even the skin with coarse sea salt tasted flavorful. A crisp, fresh Vinho Verde complemented this extraordinary dining experience. Very nice Fish restaurant in Faro, the chef knows how consult on the fish and cooks on the charcoal grill at your liking. The shashimi style fish is absolutely amazing, we had both pica and a macarel and a grilled dorade. Very tasty and a strong recommendation for fish lovers!

Absolutely fantastic seafood restaurant. Single fish was cooked in various delicious ways. Ceviche was one of a kind 👌. Staff were extremely friendly which crowned the whole dinner experience 👏

Starting from the professionalism of the waitresses: nice, smiling, super knowledgeable about the fish preparation and the wine, they will drive you into the best way of cooking the fish. You pick it yourself from the counter inside the restaurant and the chefs will cook it for you right away.
We had anchova that came into 2 different ways: tartare and flamed sashimi.
Then we got the grilled pargo.
And a type of polenta as a side dish.
And an orange creme brulee to finish the meal

The food was fresh and excellent.!! The best fish in faro ! You can choose what you want , they clean and grill the sea food you want ! The waitress is very very nice !! I recommend this restaurant !

We had the dorade fish 3 different styles. Sashimi, ceviche and grilled. All off which were exceptional. It’s the same vibe as going to the mercado to buy your own fish but here it is cooked by someone for you. Great experience and friendly staff. It’s a bit on the pricier side but since the fish is so fresh we cannot complain. Really recommend

Perfect, fresh. Prices above average but totally fine for the fresh fish. 23€ per fish on average, 8€ wine, 3€ bottle water. Ot's reasonable. Spent 80-100€ for two person. You can select your fish and they will prepare it (sashimi, cevice, tartar..) it's delicious.

the staff is so friendly and they help you choose your fish and the cooking method. i really like the concept and everything was insanely delicious. never knew i could like fish in so many different ways. i loved the flamed sashimi method!!

Not a big seafood eater but I found the dishes edible. My partner, who loves seafood, told me it was exceptional food which is a fairer appraisal. The chef explains all the different seafood options and walks through the different ways it can be cooked. Staff were good, friendly and knowledgeable. This was an excellent experience.

Our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional—easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. We were fortunate enough to have the restaurant to ourselves, arriving right as it opened for dinner. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and walked us through the entire ordering process. You get to pick fresh fish and seafood directly from the counter, which was a unique and delightful touch. The lady preparing our meal offered fantastic recommendations, and her suggestions did not disappoint.
When the dishes arrived, we were blown away. Every plate was thoughtfully prepared with the perfect balance of spices and flavors. If you’re looking to enjoy fresh fish around Faro, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in town. Incredible food! I’ve been here 3 times in 2 days and every time the food has been spot on. The staff are really helpful and go out their way to make you feel welcome. I may visit one last time before I leave Portugal!

A great concept that I wish we had in my home town! We chose Sea Bream and the chef talked us through our preferences and options. We went with her suggestion of half flamed sashimi and half grilled. We also had the mixed potatoes and xarem on the side.
The sashimi was incredible. Great smokey flavour from the flaming combined with flavourful marinades and oils. The grilled fish was also expertly cooked and the sides went very well with the fish and soaked up the juices well.

I am sure it is best fish restaurant in the city. Speak to chief to choose the best fish for your taste and enjoy - both our dishes were cooked perfectly and the fish were very fresh. Service is pleasant
